Tasting Notes
On the nose there are aromas of toasty fine oak, ripe black cherry, cassis and notes of bitter herbs, as well as a chocolaty character. On the palate it has a very fine tannin extraction, which is powerful but also elegant, and there is a saltiness, with a supple background and a vivid fruitiness on the finish. It is complex and persistent, and is a Bordeaux blend in the style of the top wines of the New World.
