The red wine »Philippsbrunnen« Zell Kreuzberg Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bremer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A closed nose with dark berry aromas, resin and green tea. Subtle use of wood lurks in the background. It's immediately sweet on the palate, with a core of fine fruit over a supple base thanks to mellow tannins in significant quantity. The seamlessly integrated acidity matches the juiciness, leading to a clearly chalky mineral finish.
