The white wine Langenlonsheim Rothenberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Bürgermeister Schweinhardt has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points.
On the nose orange blossom, peach, clear iron-mineral aromas, also citrus. On the palate a crisp acidity, mineral here too, quite slender but still with substance and intensity, pleasantly viscous with mineral notes, salty in the echo. Deep and pithy. A lot of red slate terroir for little money.
