The white wine Morillon Südsteiermark DAC Ried Steinberg, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Firmenich has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Pale golden yellow, silver reflections. Delicate aromas of meadow herbs, yellow stone fruit, hints of mango and honeydew melon with an underlying touch of light nougat. Juicy and elegant, notes of white apple, a touch of lemon balm and a hint of blossom honey on the finish. A well balanced, fine food wine with good length and definite ageing potential.
