The red wine »Melchior C.« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2008 from the winery Weingut Deutzerhof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Pronounced aromas of the forest floor, along with notes of malt, ripe cherry and iodine. Rather slender on the palate, but nicely expressive and juicy with attractive acidity and minerality. The compelling finish has a delicate nuance of clove.
