The red wine Ottanta Vino Rosso, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Egger-Ramer has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Dark luminous ruby colour with delicately brightening rim. On the nose dried figs, chestnuts, plus rich blackberries, leather, undergrowth and a fine balsamic finish. On the palate good fruit expression and compact texture, shows nutty tones. On the finish unfortunately a lot of wood.
