The white wine Riesling Halenberg, Monzingen, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Emrich-Schönleber has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
Clear, medium yellow colour. Restrained fruit, still countered in yeast, yellow apple, also delicate green aromas. Powerful, again opulent and dense on the palate, lots of minerality and tension, but also lots of strength and power, but little play. Once again a massive wine (as in 2009), for which one should above all be patient. Long-lasting, salty and pure, but also full-bodied and opulent.
