Tasting Notes
There are smoky aromas of new oak, as well as dried meat, tobacco, sour cherry, a tiny hint of marsala from barrel ageing, and finally herbs and juniper. On the palate it has a creamy opening, with dry fine-grained tannins, a powerful extract, although it is still restrained in its fruit flavours, and there is a sinewy structure.
