Tasting Notes
Strong amber with mahogany reflections. Intense dried fruit notes, pickled nuts, figs, a hint of quince cheese, DELICATE hints of clover and nougat, candied orange zest underneath. Juicy, taut, dark nougat, salty nuances, fresh acidity, integrated sweetness, emphatically mineral and youthful on the finish, a touch of apricot confit on the finish, lingers very long, shows what Neuburger can produce in the sweet range. A lesson in Austrian wine history in the glass.
