The red wine C.B.Z, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Franz Steiger has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. On the nose it is underlaid with fine nuances of liquorice and cassis, as well as dark berry fruit, a fine herbal savouriness, and discreet hints of orange zest. It is juicy, with a sweet blackberry note, a subtle sweetness, fine tannins, some minerality, and a subtle chocolate note on the finish.
