Tasting Notes
Deep ruby garnet in colour with purple reflections and a broad edge brightening. Fine woody spice, red berry nuances, a hint of cassis and ripe cherries on the nose are underlaid by a subtle herbal savouriness and a touch of nougat. A full-bodied palate shows a core of extract sweetness wrapped in ripe tannins but with good freshness. Sweet black cherries are the dominant fruit note, with very good length. Already gluggable, but with great ageing potential for many years.
