The white wine Berg Schlossberg Riesling Spaetlese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Fendel has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Pineapple and honey candy, lemon blossom, it is vivid and seemingly fresh. On the palate late harvest fullness, but also with a vibrant mineral juiciness and a lot of nerve, it has archetypal proportions with high intensity, with a saltiness on the finish, and notes of rock flour. It is very young with great fruit reserves.
