A dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. It has an underlay of discreet fine oak spiciness, with dark wild berry fruit, fresh cherry, and a hint of orange zest. It is juicy, with an elegant texture, some minerality in the background, and nice nougat, it is a versatile food wine with ageing potential.
