The white wine »Großes Gewächs« Piesport Goldtröpfchen Riesling, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Hain has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
The wine has a balsamic slate savouriness on the nose, also floral tones, lemon blossom. The palate reveals fine phenolics, absorbed by a generous, supple base, sweetness and acidity play around each other, the finish belongs to the pronounced, tactile minerality.
