The white wine »Debatte« Sylvaner, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Harth has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Medium to deep golden yellow colour, fragrant and ripe on the nose, yellow flowers, honey, apricot and pear, English orange marmalade. Lean and taut on the palate with a straightforward attack, linear and with fresh acidity and some carbon dioxide, balanced by fruity residual sweetness and fine, savoury minerality. Unconventional, it belongs to the winery's "debate" category for good reason.
