The white wine Stetten Pulvermächer Riesling GG, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Heid has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The 2020 GG already shows slight hints of maturity on the nose, the typical for Riesling petrol note shines through finely, but the lemony fruit dominates the scenery. On the palate, the only one of the three Rieslings with a little fruit sweetness, mild and dense, exciting contrast.
More about the tastingThere is a smell that is reminiscent of rooibos tea, as well as aromas of fresh pineapple and nectarine. It is not a Riesling of the slimmest variety, but it is not broad either. The acidity on the juicy palate is incisive, and the finish is long with a stony minerality, and a good grip. It is harmonious in its style.
