The white wine Burrweiler Muskateller feinherb, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Herbert Meßmer has been rated in 2017 with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gelber Muskateller from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
In addition to the archetypal aromas of lychee and elderflower, there is a hint of fermentation and yeast spice. This will subside with time, but today it provides an additional component. Agile acidity and fermentation carbonic acid provide sufficient resistance to the sweetness. That's good.
