The white wine »F« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Hofmann has been rated in 2017 with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fresh leather, which is rather rare in Silvaner, is the first memory. Does the Ansbach dialect play a part in this? Hardly. But the wine remains on its tart pedestal, suddenly descends on the palate and calls out: sweetness!
