The red wine Wild Wall, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Jahner has been rated in 2011 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Syrah, Merlot from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, watery rim. Fine wood savouriness, balsamic touch, ripe plum, dark berries, some chocolate, delicate hint of herbs. Powerful, lots of nougat, vivid, very well-integrated tannins, cinnamon and clove on the finish, lingers well, a full-bodied food companion with good development and certain ageing potential.
