It has a deep dark garnet colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aroma nuances of dark nougat and dried plum, tobacco notes, and some oak spiciness. It is juicy and powerful, with hints of prune, ripe tannins, a fine acidity, and a chocolaty finish. It is already easy to drink, and it has certain further ageing potential.
