The white wine »Kieselstein« Rümmelsheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Joh. Bapt. Schäfer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
On the nose there are aromas of ripe yellow fruit, such as peach, passion fruit, and ripe lemon, as well as sage, elderflower, wet stone, and a light malt savouriness. It is juicy on the palate, with ripe fruit which is well balanced by a lively acidity. There is a salty minerality, and some beautiful phenolic notes.
