Tasting Notes
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad brightening on the rim. There are lovely herbal arama notes, with a hint of ripe cherry, delicate cassis notes, a fine oak spiciness, and a hint of aniseed. It is juicy, elegant, taut, with a well-integrated acidity, blackberry notes, a gentle spiciness, a hint of fig, and good persistence. It is a versatile wine.
More about the tastingStrong ruby, purple reflections, broad and bright at the rim. Spicy notes lie beneath fruits of the forest, fine touch of oak, cherry, notes of candied orange zest. Good complexity, fine spice, some fig, fresh acidity, will profit from bottle ageing, persistent.
