Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine oak savouriness, hints of vanilla, candied orange zest, dark wild berry confit, cinnamon bark. Complex, juicy, mineral, fruity-sweet notes of wild strawberry, multi-faceted, velvety tannin, remains well lasting, a multi-layered food companion with certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingIntense garnet, purple and ochre hues on the discreet rim. Blackberry fruit, hints of cassis and liquorice over a lightly nutty background, a smidgen of lime zest, floral notes. Medium-bodied, ripe cherry fruit, fine juicy extract, fresh, nicely structured, good length, salty finish; just beginning to show development, certainly has further ageing potential.
