Tasting Notes

Tasting from 01.07.2024: Ulrich Sautter

Light lemon yellow to straw-coloured. An aroma of dried orange peel, pink peppercorns and anise rises from the glass. There are also slightly buttery notes. On the palate the wine has a rich, round flow, the acidity typical of the vintage is wrapped in texture and fruit-driven sweetness. In the finish the wine shows a layer of quite taut phenolics, which does not detract from the impression of charming harmony, but at most adds a tart accent in a distinctive way.
