The red wine 42 | Zweigelt Reserve, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Jordan has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle bright ochre rim. There are aroma nuances of liquorice, as well as black berry, a lovely touch of fine oak, and candied mandarin zest. It is juicy, complex, with ripe tannins, a hint of fig, elegance and persistence, no rough edges, a chocolaty aftertaste, and it is already ripe for consumption.
