Light greenish yellow. Fine spicy notes on the nose, aniseed and cinnamon, fine yellow apple fruit. Sweetish texture on the palate, with a lively acidity underneath, not quite balanced overall, which is due to the not inconsiderable alcohol. Wines like this often come from California, but they don't have the most finesse.
