It has a very dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a broad and bright ochre rim. There are aromas of nougat, with dark wild berry, sweet fig, black cherry, and a fine mint touch, it is a multi-faceted bouquet. It is juicy, with some liquorice, sweet plum, vanilla, ripe tannins, some minerality, persistence, and some chocolate on the powerful finish. It is a full-bodied food wine with a long future.
