The red wine Cuvée Diabolo, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Josef Zeitlberger & Josef Zeitlberger has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Wagram in Austria.
Strong ruby garnet with purple reflections and a broad rim brightening. Fine tobacco spice, a hint of nougat and blackberries, and some caramel shows on the nose. The palate is juicy and elegant with a repeat of that fine dark berry fruit, supported by well-integrated tannins and a chocolaty finish. A good food companion.
