The white wine Riesling Smaragd Vinothekfüllung Loibner, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Knoll has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 95 - 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Wachau in Austria.
Light green and yellow colour with silver reflections. Ripe yellow peach fruit on the nose with delicate pineapple and fresh orange zest underneath, still somewhat restrained. Juicy, elegant, fine pronounced stone fruit notes on the palate. This is powerful with a silky texture and very long length. A full-bodied style with ageing potential.
