Strong ruby garnet colour, purple reflections, brighter at the rim. Somewhat restrained dark forest berry confit, a hint of liquorice and cassis, fine herbal savouriness in the background. Juicy, good complexity, vivid tannins, some nougat and caramel on the finish, very good development and certain ageing potential, will develop into a multi-faceted food companion.
