The red wine »S« Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Konrad Berg & Sohn has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Already shows the location in the fragrance, very delicate, fine cold smoke, light and dark wild berries, blood orange, allspice, herbal savouriness. Power and elegance perfectly combined on the palate, lots of minerality clearly shows the provenance with a soft and gluggable base, with certain ageing potential for further years.
