Subtly smoky on the nose, some wood, berryish varietal aromas. On the palate nice drive and juiciness, ripe acidity and ripe phenolics give the wine volume, aromatically the wine is only at the very beginning of its journey, but the clay slate aromas of the Rotliegend already flash on the finish.
