The red wine »P1 Cuvée MC«, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Kurz-Wagner has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Cubin from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The very intense, yet not quiet fully developed bouquet, shows notes of dark chocolate, Amarena cherries and herbs. On the palate, the powerful, slightly grainy but flawlessly ripe tannins exert a lot of drive, while a slight sweetness softens the tension. The finish is juicy and fruit-driven, with a beautiful harmony that is not overloaded despite the sweetness.
