The white wine Weisenheim Halde Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Langenwalter has been rated in 2014 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Oxidized pear, some melon, smoke and flint, Virginia tobacco, fully ripe plum. Very smoky on the palate, dried tobacco leaves, a slightly bacony, firm mouthfeel. Clearly recognizable winery style, but again slender, with great length.
