The white wine Engehöll Bernstein Am Lauerbaum Riesling GG, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Lanius-Knab has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
You can smell the highly ripe grapes: with aromas of apricot and blossom honey, candied nectarine and peach. On the palate, the wine also shows the volume of a late harvest, has a lot of suppleness, almost oily, a rather ripe acidity, mild phenolics. Slight sweetness rounds off the wine on the finish.
