The white wine »Magic Mountain« Rüdesheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Leitz has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Initially quite closed on the nose with smoky, reductive notes, with air contact, aromas of apple and bergamot develop. On the palate, juicy and powerful, linear structure with noticeable sweetness and acidity and a mineral touch. This wine will evolve very well, but still needs some time.
More about the tastingA multi-layered mineral spiciness soars from the glass. Floral notes are also vivid. On the palate the wine is quite punchy and terpenic, with ripe acidity and comparatively high alcohol. it finishes with a good, textured, compact finish.
