The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Leon Gold has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Clear wood influenced aromas, but not sweet-vanilla more toasty notes, plus hazelnuts and smoky-wood nuances. Also taut, pithy and smoky on the palate, with a lot of substance and potential. Rather reminiscent of Chardonnay from the French Jura.
