The orange wine Rohstoff, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Liegenfeld has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Bright orange gold. Fine notes of candied orange zest, a hint of apricot jam underneath, nuances of herbs and honey. Fresh, firm texture, white apple, nutty touch on the finish, mineral and persistent, an individual, lively food companion of medium length.
