Deep dark, impenetrable ruby violet. Opens with slightly smoky notes, then earthy, lots of beet, followed by plenty of blackberry and blueberry, crisp. Juicy on the attack and on the palate, shows gripping, grippy tannins, builds up in layers, full pressure on the finish.
