The red wine Portugieser trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Lukas Kesselring has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Aromas of strawberry, cardamom and a little sorrel. A slight sweetness from the alcohol is noticeable and is softened by the fine acidity. The tannin is restrained. A Portugieser that comes across as inconspicuous, but is nevertheless quite intense.
