The red wine Privat Cuvée, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Mariel has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Some tobacco savouriness, black cherries, subtle hint of liquorice, smoky notes, cassis. Juicy, elegant, powerful, well-integrated tannins, nougat touch, blackberry notes on the finish, long-lasting, a good food wine.
