The red wine Ostarrichi, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Markus Schuller has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Deep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Black berry fruit with herbal and spicy undertones, a hint of ripe cherries, dark minerality. Juicy, fine chocolaty texture, ripe plums, already accessible, some nougat on the finish.
