The red wine Steingarten, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Martin Reinfeld has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicate balsamic background of dark berry confit, some nougat, a hint of mint, attractive bouquet. Full-bodied, good complexity, soft notes of ripe plums and cocoa, remains well adhered, a powerful food wine.
