The red wine »Noir de Noir« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Mees has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Dunkelfelder from the region Nahe in Germany.
On the nose, blueberry compote, raisin and semi-bitter chocolate. On the palate the wine has good extract, the plump fruit already vivid in the aroma continues and is even enhanced by slight sweetness, a lively acidity and a touch of greenness give the wine an impression of freshness despite its fullness.
