The white wine Kröv Kirchlay Riesling Spätlese feinherb, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Michael Trossen has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
The nose shows ripe, "sweet" yellow fruits and smoky-slate savoury tones. On the palate, the wine has a lot of substance, firm acidity and well-balanced sweetness that gives volume to the mid-palate. Currently closed, the wine will be fully developed in three to five years.
