Tasting Notes
Smoky oak-influenced aroma, smoked bacon, but also wild berry and elderberry. Very smooth on the palate, tannins like velvet and silk, ripe "warm" (but not heated) fruit, lots of juice and fruit behind the polished tannins, and the oak imprint is more structural rather than aromatically effective. It has very good length and a very good future.
