The red wine St. Laurent Meisterstück, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Neff has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety St. Laurent from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle bright ochre rim. There are lovely Black Forest cherry aroma nuances, a hint of nougat and cherry, cranberry, bourbon vanilla, it is an attractive bouquet. On the palate it is complex, with a nice hint of caramel, ripe tannins, ripe cherry, a pleasant acidity, and blackberry on the finish, and a lemony minerality on the aftertaste.
