The red wine Leithaberg DAC Ried Feurer, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Nehrer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Leithaberg in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aromas of oak spice, candied orange zest, an underlay of blackberry confit, liquorice, and black cherry. On the palate it is complex, juicy, with red cherry, fine tannins, salty nuances, great finesse, and red berry on the aftertaste. It has very good length, and has certain ageing potential.
