The white wine Bechtheim Geyersberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Oekonomierat Johann Geil I. Erben has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
It is still somewhat yeasty on the nose, with some white-fleshed peach, although the fruit remains rather closed even when intensely aerated. On the palate it is supple, with a delicate layer of very fine phenolics, a lively acid backbone. and a concise minerality on the finish.
