Nuanced Burgundian berry aroma with an accompaniment of "sweet" new oak, also some plum. Full-bodied palate, very velvety tannins, yet it has drive and substance, ripe acidity, a mineral tinge also gives it freshness and tension. It is a quite complete Ahr pinot noir with a salty undercurrent and great harmony.
